Requirements

Having recently taken over the ownership of the Wolverhampton TaxAssist office Lloyd Evans contacted Mint Telecom to recommend a way forward for their telephony solution. They were using a pair of traditional cordless phones that would be passed from staff member to staff member which meant that the customer experience was not as he would have liked.

The Solution

Mint Telecom recommended upgrading to Fibre Optic Broadband which would provide sufficient bandwidth for VoIP calls as well as improving access to their cloud hosted desktop where staff do the majority of their work.

Phone sockets and routers were moved to a more suitable location in the office out of sight and more importantly away from harm. Additional cabling work was carried out to achieve this.

Finally, a Horizon hosted phone system was installed allowing for increased functionality such as music on hold and buttons to easily transfer calls between staff members.

Scalable

The system provided scale up and out across various locations. We felt that this was prefect as Lloyd was already exploring the possibilities of opening more offices across the local area in the near future.
